The Talent Show, organised by the Association of Management Students (AMS), featured performances in singing, dancing, drama, and instrumental music, providing students with an opportunity to express themselves beyond academics. The event aimed to build confidence, enhance student engagement, and promote a culture of appreciation for performing arts on campus. Students enthusiastically participated, showcasing a wide range of talents, which created a vibrant and enjoyable atmosphere for everyone. The event helped students develop confidence, stage presence, and teamwork skills, while winners were recognized for their exceptional performances. It also strengthened bonds among students and AMS members through shared celebration and creativity.

Reel Rush

The Reel Rush Social Media Challenge, organized by the Association of Management Students (AMS), encouraged students to create short video clips showcasing the vibrancy, culture, and academic spirit of Saegis Campus. The competition aimed to develop students’ digital media, communication, and teamwork skills while promoting the university's online presence. Students actively participated by producing creative and engaging videos, which enhanced the campus’s social media presence, encouraged teamwork and creativity, and strengthened AMS’s image as an innovative, student-driven organization. Outstanding student talent was recognised and rewarded through certificates and expressions of appreciation.

INSPIRE – Motivation Program

The INSPIRE 2025 motivational programme, conducted by renowned speaker Mr Dilendra Peiris, aimed to inspire students to unlock their full potential, enhance self-discipline, and adopt a growth-oriented mindset. The session motivated participants to overcome challenges and prepare for future success both within and beyond the university. Its main objective was to empower students to develop a positive mindset, build confidence, and stay focused on their academic and personal goals. Students gained valuable insights into personal growth, confidence-building, and goal-setting, boosting motivation and positivity, while also strengthening the connection between AMS and the student community. The event received highly positive feedback for Mr. Peiris’s engaging and inspiring speech.

Vesak Celebration

The Vesak Celebration, organised by the Association of Management Students (AMS), featured the campus decorated with beautifully crafted Vesak lanterns, creating a serene and festive atmosphere. The event aimed to promote cultural and religious appreciation, unity among students, and the values of kindness and mindfulness associated with the Vesak season. The campus was beautifully decorated, encouraging teamwork and creativity among AMS members, while strengthening cultural understanding and appreciation within the campus community and promoting unity, compassion, and togetherness in celebration of the Vesak spirit.

KICKSTART FIESTA

The Association of Management Students (AMS) of Saegis Campus organized “Kickstart Fiesta”, a welcome program for newly enrolled students of the Faculty of Management. The session included fun games, interactive activities, and team-building exercises to encourage communication, cooperation, and understanding among students. The event aimed to create a friendly and inclusive atmosphere, helping newcomers feel comfortable and motivated as they began their academic journey. The onboarding program successfully engaged all new management students, who actively participated in activities and built stronger peer connections, and received positive feedback for its fun and interactive approach.

Smiles of Hope, Christmas Special Charity Project

The Association of Management Students (AMS) of Saegis Campus proudly presented 'Smiles of Hope' Christmas Charity Event, an initiative aimed at bringing joy, comfort, and hope to children battling cancer during the holiday season. In partnership with the Indi Foundation, which has supported young cancer patients for over 12 years, the project sought to make a meaningful difference in the lives of 300 children. The event spread the holiday spirit while supporting underprivileged members of the community, particularly children facing challenging circumstances, reflecting AMS’s commitment to social responsibility and community engagement. Essential items and donations were successfully collected and distributed to patients at Maharagama Cancer Hospital, helping students develop a deeper understanding of kindness, empathy, and service, while fostering unity and teamwork among AMS members.

Halloween Film Festival

The Association of Management Students (AMS) of Saegis Campus organized a Halloween Film Festival to celebrate the spooky season with a fun and engaging experience for students. The main objective of the event was to create an entertaining environment that blended creativity and culture through a themed movie night. As part of the celebration, the horror film The Grudge was screened, allowing students to enjoy a thrilling cinematic experience together. The festival provided an enjoyable and memorable experience, strengthened student bonds through a shared social and cultural event, and promoted teamwork and creativity among AMS members during event planning and setup. The screening was well-received, attracting strong student participation and successfully creating a lively and spooky Halloween atmosphere on campus.

Carrom Tournament

The Association of Management Students (AMS), in collaboration with the ICT Club of Saegis Campus, organized a Carrom Tournament to promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and healthy interaction among students. The event encouraged students from various departments to participate in a fun and competitive activity that fosters unity and friendship on campus. It also provided a platform for students to showcase their skills, relieve academic stress, and develop organizational and leadership abilities through active involvement in planning and managing the event. The tournament successfully encouraged teamwork, cooperation, and friendly competition among students while helping them relax and reduce academic pressure. It also strengthened relationships and communication among students and club members, providing AMS and ICT Club members with valuable hands-on experience in teamwork and event coordination

RANGORA Mehendi Fiesta

Students showcased impressive mehendi designs, highlighting their talent and artistic skills, while the event reinforced AMS’s reputation for organizing engaging and culturally rich activities on campus.
