Shooting-Sports Squad

The Saegis Campus Shooting Sports Squad (SCSSS) was founded in 2025 under the visionary leadership of the Vice Chancellor, with a mission to nurture talent and foster excellence in precision shooting. Our goal is to identify students with exceptional potential and provide them with a pathway to represent themselves and Saegis Campus at both national and international platforms. At SCSSS, being a shooter is more than mastering a sport, it’s a journey of personal growth and discipline. Rigorous mental and physical training instills focus, patience, and resilience, shaping members into well-rounded individuals with strong character.

On Magam Sport Club Shooting Sports Competition 2025, organized by the Magam Sports Club , 7 Members of Saegis Campus Shooting Sports Squad (SCSSS) for earning the Sharpshooter titles and We extend our heartfelt congratulations to P. H. Sahan Madhawa  for securing 1st place in the University Men Air Pistol 30 Shots PCP  while Tharushi Dasunika Mohottiarachchi for securing 2nd place in the University Women Air Rifle 10 Shots event. N D Jayatillake  was able  to secure the 3rd place in the University Men Air Rifle 10 Shots Shots event.  Saegis Campus Shooting Sports Squad (SCSSS) Mens Team was also able to secure the 3rd place in the University Men Air Rifle 10 Shots – Team Event as well.

We proudly celebrate the outstanding achievement of 10 members from the Saegis Campus Shooting Sports Squad (SCSSS) for earning the Sharpshooter title at the Inter-University Air Rifle and Pistol Individual Qualifying Competition 2025, organized by the Academics Air Arms Association of Sri Lanka. Also We extend our heartfelt congratulations to P. H. Sahan Madhawa for securing 1st place in the Air Pistol Spotter - 15 Shots (Men’s Event) and Janaka Maduka Bandara for securing 2nd place in the Air Rifle Spotter - 15 Shots (Men’s Event)
