The Bachelor of Information Technology (BIT) is a three-year degree program designed to provide students with a strong foundation in computing and IT-related disciplines. Aligned with the Sri Lanka Qualifications Framework (SLQF), the program focuses on both theoretical knowledge and practical skill development in areas such as programming, databases, software engineering, networking, and cybersecurity. It includes an industry internship and an individual project, enabling students to apply their learning in real-world contexts. The program aims to develop competent IT professionals equipped with the technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and adaptability required to succeed in today’s fast-evolving digital landscape.
