The Lingua Lounge and Debating Wing, in close collaboration with the Department of Languages, successfully organized its second communication-focused workshop titled "Unlock Your Potential. Lead with Impact." Held on Sunday, 9th August 2026, from 9:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. at Saegis Campus, the session gathered 46 enthusiastic participants, including a strong turnout of students from the Department of Languages. The workshop was expertly conducted by Dr. Tharanga Weerasooriya (Senior Lecturer – Grade I), whose engaging delivery made the session both seamless and highly practical. The key objective of the workshop was to empower students with essential communication skills, critical thinking, leadership techniques, and persuasive speaking abilities. Throughout the interactive three-hour program, attendees gained valuable insights into team collaboration and confidence-building strategies essential for effective leadership. Students actively participated in discussions and exercises, learning how to articulate their ideas with clarity and presence.
