Canterbury Christ Church University (CCCU) has recorded one of the sharpest rises in the latest Guardian University Guide, climbing 34 places to reach joint 73rd among 123 universities across the UK.

The rise places CCCU among the most improved universities in the latest rankings and makes it a joint top-ranked university in Kent and Medway, alongside the University for the Creative Arts.

Commenting on the achievement, Vice-Chancellor and Principal Professor Claire Ozanne said that the university’s focus on teaching quality and graduate outcomes has contributed to the improvement. She noted that CCCU continues to prepare ‘future-ready graduates’ who go on to make a positive impact in their communities.
