The second-year Tourism and Hospitality Management undergraduates of Saegis Campus had a hotel visit to Cinnamon Citadel Kandy along with a scenic train ride from Colombo to Kandy for a unique travel experience on the 7th of January 2025.
This visit was organized to offer students first-hand experience in the main operational departments of a hotel chain, with a focus on hygiene, grooming, and Sustainable practices in hotel operation.
The Department of Management extends the sincerest appreciation to the Cinnamon Citadel Kandy and Ms. Savani De Alwis, Manager of Human Resources in the Cinnamon Citadel Kandy for facilitating this visit and continuing to support the Department’s tourism and hospitality-related initiatives and activities.
