Bachelor of Business Management Honours In Accounting & Finance

This Program offers students with new opportunities to develop accounting and financial skills and will help to be business leaders in futures by providing advanced theoretical and practical knowledge in accounting and finance. Students will be able to learn computational and calculation techniques with related to the areas of financial accounting, management accounting and financial management. In the final semester students are required to gain experience of practical finance management scenarios by working in organizations under the supervision of the academic mentors and an appointed working manager. A record book has to be maintained by the students during the internship. Further, students are required to produce a research report based on an independent study of selected finance related issues. A supervisor is appointed for each student.

Entry Requirements

Three (3) Simple passes (”S”) in any stream in one and the same sitting at the GCE (Advanced Level) Examination conducted by the Department of Examinations of Sri Lanka or equivalent qualification And a Credit (”C”) pass for Mathematics in GCE (Ordinary Level) Examination conducted by the Department of Examinations of Sri Lanka or equivalent qualification.
