Dr Susil is a senior lecturer in the Department of Languages. He earned his undergraduate degree in ELT from the Open University of Sri Lanka and completed a post-graduate diploma in TESL at the Faculty of Education of the University of Colombo.
He earned his first Master of Arts Degree in Linguistics from the University of Kelaniya and subsequently read for his second Master of Arts Degree in Human Rights Law from the University of Colombo. He has also completed a Master of Education Degree from the Open University of Sri Lanka.
Dr Susil earned his PhD in linguistics from the University of Kelaniya. He has also completed the Certificate in Teaching in Higher Education. Dr. Susil is a certified trainer of SLITAD and is a member of the Chartered College of Teaching – UK. He holds the Professional Certificate in Marketing from the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing. He has also earned a certificate in training and human resources development from the CIPM.
Dr. Susil published papers in linguistics, education, and human rights. He heads the Department of Languages at Saegis Campus.
