Ms. Amavi Roosarani is a lecturer in English attached to the Department of Languages at Saegis Campus. She holds a BA Degree (First Class Honors) in English. She also holds the TKT qualification and a diploma in International Relations. She teaches courses in TESL, linguistics, literature in English, business English, communication skills and academic writing.
Her research interests include language acquisition, linguistics, world literature, post-colonial literature, international relations, and TESL. She is also into poetry, drama and theatre, and children’s literature.
Ms Amavi is reading for her MA in TESL at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura.
